First Impression: As an inhabitant of a warmer climate, it’s refreshing to visit a frozen planet and let my feet crunch in the snow. The thermal protection in my suit won’t let me feel the chilly breeze, but I can still enjoy sliding down the hills and making my mark on the environment. Like.. blowing up all these rocks. I like my snow pristine, thanksverymuch.
Seriously, am I right? Who left all this garbage laying around? These piles are EVERYWHERE.
The fauna of Ruga are flippin’ small and scrawny, except for the Sterlacolum. These guys, from a distance, look like little teddy bears meandering around. Love, love, LOVE!!
The Sterlacolum’s description makes them sound as adorable as they really are. I just want to hug one—with my multi-tool, of course. I gave a few some of my special love and got some proto-sausage in return.
You’ll learn quickly that I have a soft spot for the cave systems. The subtle lights of the cave flowers reflecting on the walls and rock formations are so romantic.
Who wouldn’t get holiday feels from the gentle glow of the bulb flora?

As much as I love the caves (and Christmas), my backpack loves them even more. Fill ‘er up! This pistol cleared out the place pretty quickly. Cobalt, Ionised Cobalt, and a little Silver were my rewards. Not bad!
